The upper part of this tattoo is completely healed.
There are a lot of different ways to take proper care of your fresh tattoo. There are some factors that will influence on what you should or shouldn't do: whats the visual aim of the project, what kind of injury were made, the extension of the wound, part of body, personal habits, weather, season... But there are a few simple general guidance that will work fine for most of tattoos.
For two hours after the tattoo is done, keep it covered with a plastic bandage. After that, clean up the tattoo with foam from your regular soap and running water. When it's completely clean, put the tattoo under hot water for a few seconds then throw cold water on it. Get it dry with paper-towel and that's it.
All you could do to help is done. Now it's a matter of don't mess with your self-healing process and you will be fine.
Keep the tattooed area clean, avoid leaving it under water for too long and don't peel the dry skin, let it fall for itself. Also protect it from direct sunlight.
If you feel that your healing skin are too dry, apply - no more than two times a day - a thin layer of solid vaselin and massage it until it completely disappears over the skin.
After the healing is complete, a good sunscreen is always a good idea.
